Calculate the width at the top, middle and bottom
Ensure to hold both ends of the tape to the inside of the recess
Use the smallest measurement for a perfect fit
Measure the height from the left, right and the center
Use the longest measurement for accurate fit
For measuring outside mount blinds
Outside blonds are placed 1.5 to 3 inches above the window
Analyse the height from top to bottom of the mount
Check the width and add 2 to 4 inches on both sides
